Description

June 23, 1995

The FORD Asili Parliamentary Group demanded an urgent meeting of the opposition party’s top organ to take action against the chairman, Mr. Kenneth Matiba, “for his inability to lead the party.” The MPs hurled 10 charges against Mr. Matiba, accusing of being the single greatest threat to opposition unity. Here ford Asili Vice Chairman George Nthenge (left) addresses a press conference. With him is Secretary General, Mr. Martin Shikuku.
