The Secretary General of the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) Akelo Misori (left) and the KUPPET Chairman Omboko Milemba (right) led a press conference on the 2nd of July 2013 to announce the suspension of the teacher’s strike that started on the 19th of June 2013. The body will proceed to the negotiating table presided by the Cabinet Secretary for labour to see into the proposals of Government and T.S.C. on commuter, leave and responsibility allowances.
