Minister of local government, Paul Otuoma addresses City Council of Nairobi workers outside Jogoo house on January 21, 2013, where they were holding demonstration against the minister whom they have accused of refusing to sign a CBA that was negotiated between the Kenya Local Government Authorities Workers Union and the Association of Local Government Employers. The minister defended himself and said that the Salaries and Remuneration Commission wrote to him and asked that the CBA be looked by the commission before being signed. The workers have vowed to continue with the strike until the CBA is honoured.
