Educational stakeholders, including school heads from various universities and secondary schools, gathered at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) on May 19, 2017, to discuss preparations the ministry would undertake regarding how the upcoming elections might affect the education sector. The gathering also coincided with the launch of a report on school unrest based on past experiences.
