Description

International Computers (EA) Ltd. has announced an expanded programme making Nairobi the centre for computer training for its African operations, excluding South Africa. As part of this initiative, senior training staff from the UK will conduct advanced courses locally, previously only available in England. This week, Stan Sykes, principal lecturer in business administration at ICL’s Staff College in Windsor, is in Nairobi leading a one-week intensive business systems course for nine Kenyan staff of ICL East Africa. Mr. Sykes, a qualified accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Directors, is expected to return later in the year to conduct another course.
