Description

A buoyant Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto addresses his supporters at Ntulele Trading Centre, Narok County, on Saturday, November 19, 2016, while travelling to Bomet for his homecoming after receiving treatment at a South African hospital following injuries he alleged were caused by a tear gas canister. He made stopovers in Suswa, Ntulele, Narok Town, Ololung’a, and Mulot before a prayer rally at Bomet Stadium the following day. During the rally, Ruto criticized President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto, accusing them of using police to silence him over his political campaign, and said he had forgiven the police officer involved, describing him as “just a messenger.”
