Description

Way of the cross: Bishop Cornelius Korir of the Eldoret Catholic Diocese (with cross), and other faithful from at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral Catholic Church in Eldoret town enact the way of the cross on April 14, 2017, to mark Good Friday, signifying the suffering of Jesus and crucifixion. The clergy called on leaders to conduct peaceful campaigns and asked the electorate to reject those aspirants campaigning on tribal grounds saying the country should not be subjected to what happened during the 2007/2008 post-election violence.
