May 10, 2003: Vice-President Michael Kijana Wamalwa marries Yvonne Nambian at St. Austin’s Catholic Church, Lavington, Nairobi. The colourful ceremony was attended by President Mwai Kibaki, First Lady Lucy Kibaki, and several dignitaries. The wedding was officiated by Kitale Catholic Bishop Maurice Crowley, assisted by Fr. Martin Keane.
