Savencia Achacha, a Kongowea trader, and other supporters of Ahmed Siyat, aspirant for Kongowea Ward, protest after being excluded from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) nominations despite being registered party members. The demonstration took place on April 16, 2022, and supporters threatened to withdraw backing from Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza campaign if the election process is not repeated.
