The Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi met with a delegation from the EU Elections Observers Mission on the 7th of August 2017. Questions and concerns pertaining to the election process and its outcome were raised and it was noted by the Speaker that in the event that a body contests the election results, the Supreme Court will have a timeline to follow as they make their final decision on the outcome. The mission to Kenya deployed teams of observers to 13 locations around the country on the 27th of June 2017.
