N’ganga Kinang’ara, Ruiru MP, addresses a gathering at Machako’s Village on the evening of September 7, 2017, while launching President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election campaign in the constituency following the nullification of his August victory. The MP stated that, together with other local elected leaders, they would conduct a spirited campaign to ensure at least 150,000 voters in the constituency support UhuRuto in the October 17 election. He also called on the IEBC to identify and take action against returning officers who submitted allegedly fake, photocopied, and unsigned election results forms to prevent any repetition, noting that most incidents occurred in NASA strongholds.
