Member of the Kenya Foreign Residents Campaign for Peace (KFRCP), Challo Ali Kuku from Northern Sudan (right), spoke at a press conference on January 30, 2013, regarding concerns on current violent trends as Kenya counts down to the general elections. The team, on behalf of foreigners in the country, stressed the importance of carrying out a peaceful election and said that if the country was to fall to violence, it would lose out on foreign students, diplomats, missionaries, and investors.
