Hours before his death, Homa Bay Senator Otieno Kajwang’ was photographed with Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi at Kikuyu Town during the visit of the Senate Roads Committee to the Southern Bypass. The committee recommended the construction of a one-lane road off the bypass to allow access into the town, as the bypass had cut off entry points, a situation that angered residents and investors. Senator Kajwang’ said, “Tutapambana na hii. This is a small problem and we will get a solution for it.” He appeared in good health alongside Senators Chris Obure, Judith Sijeny, Kimani Wamatangi, Kiambu County Assembly members, KeNHA officials, and China Road and Bridges Corporation officers.
