Description

Dr J. Ndeti, Manager of Technical Services at Cooper McDougall and Robertson (EA) Ltd., visited the United Kingdom for over two months for training and familiarization with the group’s activities. He is pictured being introduced to the Duchess of Gloucester during the Royal Show in England. Looking on are Messrs A.A. Gray, Chairman of the Welcome Foundation; Upton, Director of the Foundation and Chairman of CMR Ltd.; J.K. Wilson, Director of CMR Ltd. for UK and Europe; and J.V. Thatcher, Veterinary Adviser, Nippon Welcome Co. During his visit, Dr Ndeti toured research and development laboratories, vaccine and drug manufacturing plants, government disease investigation labs, and farms, discussing livestock disease issues. His only complaints were of the British weather and traffic congestion.
