Safety precautions in agriculture and industry are emphasised during a visit by Mr. John Donkers (centre), export promotion executive of Protector International, the Australian-based manufacturer of safety equipment. The company produces a wide range of products including fire protection gear, protective clothing, helmets, goggles, face shields, respirators and safety spectacles. Following Mr. Donkers’ visit, Macpherson Train and Co. (East Africa) Ltd. assumed sole distributorship of Protector International products in the region. The partnership strengthens East Africa’s “safety first” initiatives, complementing Macpherson Train’s existing role as distributors of Pyrene fire-fighting equipment.
