Description

Business forum: Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago (left) and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s National President, Kiprono Kittony during a business forum organized by the chambers for businessmen from 15 counties held at Rupa’s Mall in Eldoret town February 28, 2019, evening. Mandago said the government should inject support to Toyota Tsusho Fertiliser Plant at Ngeria in the county, for production of blended fertilisers which are soil and crop specific for the country, instead of importing the input. Farmers in the North Rift who produce maize and wheat are preparing to plant in April at the onset of the long rains and the government is yet to import subsidized fertiliser.
